EVENT VENUE HOSPITALITY INTERNSHIP (PAID):
Requirements
- Looking for driven, self-motivated individuals with a desire to learn and get practical work experience

- This is a paid summer internship that is scheduled to run from June 2023 through August 2023. 15 hours a week for 10 weeks.
- Must be a current New Jersey undergraduate college student to qualify. Deadline to apply is May 19th, 2023. All majors welcome to apply.
- Must be able to drive and available to work on weekends.
Interns will gain access to:
- In person work experience within The Cool Venue event production team
Professional development that builds essential:
- Time management, organization, and communication skills to ensure the success of events at The Cool Venue
Main tasks will include:
- Support the team with administrative task including but not limited to:
- Assist the production team with managing the day-to-day onsite operations.
- Work closely with Event Production leadership to assess and execute client requests.
- Contribute to load-in, event itinerary, and break down of a wide variety of private client events.
- Attend venue walkthroughs and assist with taking photos, videos, and notes.
- Conducting prep calls with venue clients prior to event to review logistics and do a technical walkthrough.
- Onsite event support (setup, errands, breakdown, etc.)
- Research projects as needed.
- Helping events team with other projects and tasks as needed
- Provide summary event summary reports to venue management as needed.
- Follow organization procedures to ensure events are run according to schedule and protocol.

- Ability and desire to learn new technology needed to run an event venue.

- Efficient time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Can handle multiple projects at once.
- Demonstrate effective business and leadership skills.
- Computer skills: Proficient with Google Applications and MS Word and Excel (Familiar with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Etc.)
- Learning and observing how events are prepared and well executed in a private event venue. This allows interns to develop practical skills and real-world experiences to support concepts learned in school.
